Dato’ Sia Hok Kiang
Non-Executive Director Chairman
Dato’ Sia brings overs 30 years of international experience as an economic geologist, with a strong track record in mineral exploration and development across Asia and beyond.
He is the Managing Director of Malaco Mining Sdn. Bhd., a successful Malaysian private mining company. He holds a degree in Applied Geology from the University of Malaya and is an active member of the Geological Society of Malaysia, as well as a Council Member of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines.
He is widely respected throughout Asia for his business acumen and has established valuable networks across several countries in the region. His extensive experience in bulk alluvial mining, particularly the recovery of rare earth minerals such as xenotime and monazite as by- products of tin mining in Malaysia, is highly relevant to Enova’s Charley Creek Alluvial Rare Earth Project, which also targets the extraction of xenotime and monazite from alluvial materials.
Eric Vesel
Executive Director and CEO
Eric Vesel is a qualified Mining Engineer (M.AusIMM), he brings 38 years of diverse professional experience across the global mining industry.
Mr Vesel’s career spans a wide range of technical, operations, managerial, and corporate roles. He has worked with both junior and major mining companies in Australia, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the CIS and Malaysia. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer for Avocet Mining PLC, where he gained substantial international project development and operational experience.
He has overseen group-wide operations across all stages of the mining lifecycle – from grassroots exploration and feasibility studies to mine development and production. In addition, Mr Vesel brings strong capabilities in business evaluation and project acquisition. Based in Melbourne, he currently operates as a mining consultant, business advisor, and investor, and also serves as a Director of an advanced technology rare earth separation company in Malaysia.
Stan Wassylko
Non-Executive Director
Stan Wassylko brings over 46 years of experience in the resources sector, with a strong focus on logistics, shipping, infrastructure, project construction, contract management, and marketing. He has worked extensively across businesses that service the mining industry, developing a broad and practical skillset that supports project delivery from planning through to execution.
Appointed to the Board of Enova Mining in March 2016, Mr Wassylko plays a key role in guiding the company as it progresses the Charley Creek Rare Earth Project toward development. His long-standing and diverse industry experience continues to be a valuable asset to the Board and executive team.
Harun Halim Rasip
Non-Executive Director
Harun Halim Rasip brings decades of experience in finance, corporate governance, and infrastructure development across Southeast Asia. A retired Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Mr Halim Rasip began his career with Price Waterhouse, working in both Perth and Kuala Lumpur for eight years.
He later founded Halim Rasip Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (HRH), where he served as Chairman and Managing Director. Under his leadership, HRH was responsible for the conceptualisation, development, funding, and construction of Lumut Port in the Straits of Malacca including Lumut Maritime Terminal and Lekir Bulk Terminal. Following this, Mr Halim Rasip served as CEO of Integrax Bhd., which assumed control of Lumut Port in 2000–2001.
He has held several high-profile governance roles including membership of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Public Listed Companies Bhd. Malaysia (2004-2010), and service on its Technical & Regulatory Committee and Accounting Standards Sub-Committee (2003-2010). He has also served as Chairman of Landmarks Bhd., as a Non-Executive Independent Director of iCapital Biz Bhd., and as a Director of several other Malaysian companies.
Appointed to Enova’s Board in May 2017, Mr Rasip currently also serves as President Director of P.T. Tanah Laut Tbk., a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and based in Jakarta.
